Program details
Overview
The Master Archives trains archive professionals for public and private sector work, across all media, who can manage teams and projects. The first year gives the historical dimension of archives and an introduction to archival science.
The second year is entirely devoted to professional training in the different archive careers and is based on work-study. Theoretical teaching at the university alternates with practical training in a workplace under a professionalisation contract. Graduates learn the legal and regulatory framework for archives, including intellectual property law.
