The master's programme trains mechanical engineers for the design of machines and of industrial production and energy systems. Students deepen their knowledge of materials and their processing technologies, and learn to manage the full life cycle of products and processes with attention to sustainability. Three learning pathways are offered: Energy and Environment, covering energy technologies and environmental impact assessment; Production, covering manufacturing systems, processing technologies and quality control; and Design, covering structural verification, mechanical systems and product life-cycle study.
It awards a Master's degree (Laurea Magistrale) in mechanical engineering. A short video presentation explains the course, and the course chair is listed on the programme page.
