Program details

Overview

This two-year, English-taught joint master's programme is offered by a consortium of universities in several European countries and leads to a joint degree of 120 credits. It trains engineers to design, develop and manage complex systems, combining mathematical modelling with control engineering. Core training covers analysis, numerical analysis, scientific computing, optimisation and control theory. Students then specialise in modelling, simulation and control of complex systems, including continuum mechanics and computational fluid dynamics. The programme grew from a long-running Erasmus Mundus programme in mathematical modelling. The award is a joint degree in Mathematical Modelling.
