The three-year bachelor's degree in Modern Languages starts with the theoretical basis for how languages work, how they form and change over time, and an introduction to the literatures and cultures of the chosen languages, with many lessons held in those languages. After the first year, students choose one of two pathways. Languages for tourism and business mediation (LITI) combines languages with economics, geography and information technology, with a choice of two of English, French, Russian, Spanish and German. Literature, languages and translation (LLT) focuses on literature, the evolution of languages, cognitive aspects of language learning and methods for teaching foreign languages, with a choice of two of English, French, Spanish and German. The award is a Laurea of 180 CFU taught in Italian.
