MCKL's status as a Qualifications Scotland approved centre lets students on this diploma earn two certificates, broadening their options for further academic study later on. The course looks at how the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence come together, examining interconnected devices and intelligent systems, and students can earn an AWS badge along the way to show their cloud-computing abilities. Through MCKL's partner universities, the diploma can also be routed into a range of majors, among them artificial intelligence, software engineering, cybersecurity, data science, game development, computer science and information technology, so students can specialise in the area they choose.
