Foundation Studies in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language)#

This foundation programme prepares students for entry into teaching-English-as-a-second-language degree routes at public institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. Instruction centres on core language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing, together with grammar, alongside additional components such as drama, English literature, Malaysian studies and computer literacy. Beyond TESL entry, the programme has broadened into a pathway that can lead into other degree programmes at Universiti Teknologi MARA or elsewhere in the country.
