Avid College's CAPM pathway readies candidates for PMI's Certified Associate in Project Management exam, covering predictive, agile and business-analysis approaches to running projects. Teaching blends in-person sessions with online delivery across a short, two-month cycle, with modules built around project leadership, financial oversight within projects, and the professional and ethical standards expected of practitioners who exercise judgment and technical expertise on the job.
Entry suits applicants who have already led projects for three years, hold a bachelor's degree, or have logged 35 hours of project-management training or an existing CAPM credential. Candidates without that background can still join after an MQA-approved university preparation course, taken either on top of an unrelated Level 4 qualification or, from age 20, alongside two years of relevant work experience. Avid College, founded in 2005, runs the course from its Male' campus and may postpone an intake that falls short of its usual minimum class size.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Entry requires 36 months of experience leading projects, a bachelor's degree, or 35 hours of project-management training or an existing CAPM certification. Without this, applicants can qualify via an MQA-approved university preparation program, either after an unrelated Level 4 qualification, or from age 20 with secondary schooling and two years of relevant work experience.
