This Associate Degree in Project Management is a two year qualification at MAPS College that the MQA has approved at Level 6. It gives learners a broad grounding in project management and business concepts, together with the workplace skills employers ask for, and it suits people already in work or starting out in related roles.
The first year begins with Business Ethics, academic and presentation skills, and Introduction to Economics, and the later units include Project Management Techniques and Methods, with one optional unit. The degree takes 2 academic years, carries 240 credits and starts in January and July. Classes are designed for people in work and are held in the evening.
A three year route continues from here into a bachelor's degree on the same subject, which sits at MNQF Level 7. Government funding is available to students who qualify, covering the full course fees when they take the degree as part of that three year route.
