— it helps other students.
This two-year Associate Degree gives students the business skills and conceptual grounding needed to perform well in a globalised business environment, with insight into how international operations create both opportunities and challenges for an organisation's HR function. Modules in financial accounting, cost and management accounting, corporate governance and two financial management units sit alongside microeconomics, macroeconomics and innovation and entrepreneurship, giving HR-focused students a working understanding of the commercial side of a business.
The HR-specific content runs through human resource development, performance management, operations management and knowledge management, while human resource management and management and organisational behaviour modules anchor the theoretical base, and a cross-cultural management unit addresses the international dimension directly. Across 240 MNQF credits, graduates finish with the confidence to contribute to strategic HR decision-making and a foundation strong enough either to enter employment or progress into the related bachelor's degree.
