MA/MS in Philosophy - Philosophy and Economics

The programme builds a solid analytical and critical grasp of current thinking, situating students within an advanced discussion spanning economics' philosophy, methodology, history, and culture, and leading toward a research or academic career. It takes up questions such as why economic predictions often go wrong, whether markets have moral limits, what might be wrong with how economics conceives of rationality, and what makes for good accounts of how cooperation and morality evolve. The two-year track studies the philosophy of economics across all its aspects within a genuinely interdisciplinary setting, and sits within the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics.
