This bachelor examines how treatments for conditions such as cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer's are discovered and developed, covering the search for new drug targets, the development of methods for administering medicines, and the testing of new drugs in patients. The curriculum draws together biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry and biology, and every course includes a group project in which students work with peers on real-life biomedical problems, applying theory to practical cases.
