MA/MS in Law and Technology in Europe

The programme examines the evolving relationship between law and technology in Europe, crossing the boundaries of traditional legal subsystems to address the legal challenges raised by digitalisation. Students look at how digital developments affect different actors in society and weigh the possibilities and pitfalls of various legal responses, examine the European Union's multilevel legal order and its growing role in shaping how technology is regulated, and consider whether current laws can withstand continuing technological change. The programme also looks ahead to how technology and digital innovation are likely to develop and how the EU might respond.
