BA/BS in Teacher Education in Spanish

The programme trains you to teach Spanish in Dutch secondary education. Teaching is in English and Spanish by experienced lecturers, and you have frequent, intensive contact with the Spanish-speaking world. The course covers teaching methodology, Spanish-language literature and culture, and pedagogy. Placements at Dutch schools run alongside the study, supported by Dutch classes in year one and a Dutch minor in years two and three. The award is a bachelor's degree in teacher education for second-degree secondary schools in Spanish. Graduates are prepared for a career in education, and the part-time option lets students combine study with other commitments.
