BA/BS in Game Design

This four-year full-time bachelor trains students to design games. Students learn game design, level design and play design, and learn largely through experimentation. A game designer shapes the story, setting and rules to create the player experience, so students also need working knowledge of game art and programming. Teaching draws on professionals from the gaming industry. The degree is a Bachelor of Science within the Creative Media and Game Technologies programme. Applicants should be creative, enjoy trying out new ideas and want to understand how games are made. The programme is taught in Dutch.
