AA/AS in Management for Care and Welfare

The part-time two-year Associate degree in Management, Care and Welfare trains students to become versatile managers in care organisations. Students learn to improve processes and financial flows and to manage projects, while balancing the needs of clients with those of stakeholders such as governments and insurers. Study takes about 20 hours a week alongside a job. Each semester includes a project that produces professional products for the organisation. The final project improves a care or administrative process using Lean methods, and students develop their care ethics. Lessons take place one day a week on the campus in Zwolle. The programme is taught in Dutch.
