MA/MS in Development, Environment and Cultural Change

The two-year programme builds knowledge and critical insight into the systemic features of the Anthropocene era and how different lives are shaped under these planetary conditions. It examines interaction across scales and localities, the part played by various actors, and how research links to policy inside the sustainable development agenda, approaching these issues through an interdisciplinary lens grounded in the humanities and social sciences. Students specialise in topic areas tied to the centre's active research, pursued through elective courses and thesis work.
