BA/BS in Biologia

The general-academic first-cycle biology programme gives broad training in the natural sciences across all levels of living nature. Students carry out research during laboratory and field classes under academic supervision, and often co-author papers prepared at the Faculty of Biology. A teaching block of pedagogical courses qualifies graduates to teach natural science in primary schools. The curriculum totals 180 ECTS, with 71 ECTS of elective modules and at least 39.5 ECTS of practical classes, including laboratory and design work. A four-week professional internship is worth 2 ECTS and can take place with employers, public administration, educational or research institutions. Graduates may proceed to second-cycle study.
