Overview

The licenciatura in Finance and Accounting gives a broad and rigorous grounding in accounting alongside finance, business analysis and management. Students learn to assess weaknesses and strengths in companies and to identify investment opportunities using planning and financial control methods, with links to management information systems. The programme is interdisciplinary and gives a broad view of how businesses operate. The award is a three-year licenciatura with 180 ECTS, taught in person during the day. Entry requires secondary education and entrance exams, with minimum application and entrance-exam scores of 95 each. The exams are either two of 16 Mathematics, 18 Portuguese, 04 Economics and 09 Geography, or one of 04 Economics and 16 Mathematics.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Secondary education or equivalent plus two of: 16 Mathematics, 18 Portuguese, 04 Economics, 09 Geography; or one of: 04 Economics, 16 Mathematics. Minimum application score 95 and minimum entrance-exam score 95; application score is 50% secondary average and 50% entrance exams.
