Overview

The Neuropsychology master's studies the relationship between the nervous system and behaviour, and provides tools for assessing and treating people with brain dysfunction at any stage of life. It draws on neuroscience, neurology, clinical psychology and psychiatry. Teaching blends theory, practice and case studies through an internship and a research dissertation. The course runs two years over four semesters, totalling 120 ECTS. The first year is coursework covering functional neuroanatomy and nervous system pathology, with an optional module in computer programming for neuropsychology. The second year covers neuropsychological intervention and rehabilitation, an internship and an original dissertation of 26 ECTS. It is aimed at psychology licenciados preparing for independent professional practice.
