Overview

The Forensic Psychology master's combines multidisciplinary theory with psychology's interface with law and justice. It prepares independent professionals to support police forces and courts, to assess offenders and victims, and to plan and apply interventions in justice contexts such as domestic violence and youth offending. Practice is built around case studies and a real-context internship. The course runs for two years over four semesters, totalling 120 ECTS, and concludes with a 30 ECTS dissertation seminar. Students also study forensic practice under the legislation governing the field, along with ethics and professional deontology. Entry is through a licenciatura in psychological sciences or psychology, and the programme develops lifelong skills in reading and interpreting scientific research.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Holders of a licenciatura in psychological sciences or psychology.
