Overview
The Master's in Military Engineering is the initial entry training for the Military Engineering arm officer career of the Army's permanent staff and the GNR. The Ordem dos Engenheiros recognises the programme. Most curricular units are taught at the Instituto Superior Técnico under an association agreement, while the 30 ECTS dissertation, about a quarter of the cycle, usually falls within military sciences relevant to the Army and the GNR. Dissertations can be carried out at IST, at the Military Academy, or co-supervised by both institutions. It is the mandatory continuation of the Bachelor's in Military Engineering.
