BA/BS in Russian Language

Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College's Bachelor's program in Russian Language runs out of the college's Languages Department and has been in place since 2020, leading to a B.A. in Russian. The college frames Russian as a language with wide reach, pointing to its spread across Eurasia, its official status at the United Nations, and the standing Russia holds as a major military and economic power as reasons cadets benefit from studying it. Students move through language courses at every level and can also take classes in Russian literature, linguistics both theoretical and applied, and translation, taught through methods the college describes as creative and current. Quality assurance for the program comes partly from a partnership with Lomonosov Moscow State University, and under that arrangement cadets spend four semesters studying at the partner institution as part of their specialization plan.
