BA/BS in Management

Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College's Bachelor's program in Management was introduced to meet the need of Qatar's military units, security agencies, and the wider community for capable commanding officers able to carry out their varied and demanding duties. Qatar University ran the program on the college's behalf until 2005; once the college gained academic independence in 2006, it took over delivery itself, with the program accredited academically by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Since 2006 the program has gone through repeated internal and external review to keep pace with developments in the management field, with updates folded in around themes such as digitalising management practice, crisis management, managing human diversity, and project management, carried out by revising existing courses and introducing new ones. Teaching follows a blended methodology that combines specialised management software, workshops led by outside speakers, experiential learning, and field-based research projects.
