Master in Computing

Qatar University's Master of Science in Computing, first run in 2009 and later relaunched in an updated form, was Qatar's first graduate program in computing sciences and engineering, and also the College of Engineering's first graduate program overall. It is designed by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering to meet the country's demand for advanced computing skills across its economy. Students choose one of two focus areas, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, and one of two study options, thesis or project, preparing them either to advance into industry or to continue toward a PhD in a computing field. Classes are normally held in the late afternoon and evening hours, so working professionals can keep their jobs while studying, with instruction from faculty drawn from across the world.
