Master of Science in Civil Engineering

This coursework master's degree is offered by NTU's civil and environmental engineering school and is intended to bring students up to date with the latest advances in civil engineering practice. The field spans structural and construction work, geotechnical engineering, transportation, and water resources and environmental engineering. The degree can be completed through coursework alone or through coursework combined with a dissertation. Candidates usually take subjects from several civil engineering disciplines and graduate with fairly broad knowledge. Thirty Academic Units are needed to graduate. The programme is open full-time and part-time and admits students twice a year. Applicants need a good bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent in a related discipline, and GRE or GMAT scores are not required. English test scores are needed only if the bachelor's programme was not taught in English.
