Master of Science in Cybersecurity (Applied Cryptography)

This coursework master's degree is run by the physical and mathematical sciences school at NTU and centres on applied cryptography, backed by firm mathematical grounding and hands-on exposure to current cybersecurity uses. It responds to rising demand for people able to build, assess and deploy secure systems. Students study classical and post-quantum cryptography, security for artificial intelligence, blockchain and cryptocurrency, privacy-enhancing technologies, and both research and industry practice. Graduates are prepared for doctoral study, research and development, and senior positions in secure technology, digital trust and cybersecurity. The programme is designed to be finished in one year of full-time study or two years part-time. Full-time students attend roughly four to five classes weekly and part-time students two to three. Applicants need a solid first degree in a quantitative field.
