This is a second-cycle master's programme in movement rehabilitation (Gibalna rehabilitacija) at the Higher Education Institute of Physiotherapy. It lasts two years, carries 120 ECTS credits and is offered as part-time study. Graduates receive the title Magister fizioterapije/magistrica fizioterapije.
The programme prepares students for in-depth understanding and practice of manual therapies and for independent professional work in clinical and sports settings. It follows international developments in physiotherapy and aims to raise the quality of healthcare. Graduates are qualified to treat patients, injured athletes and other users of physiotherapy services.
Teaching links theory and practice through lectures, seminars, laboratory and clinical exercises and practical training under expert mentorship. Subjects include rehabilitation diagnostics, biomechanics, sports orthopaedics, principles of manual therapy, management of peripheral nerve disorders and management foundations in physiotherapy, together with professional and general electives and a master's thesis. Students develop advanced manual therapy skills, research competence and leadership abilities.
