Overview

This two-year master's programme applies molecular methods to ecology and conservation biology. Autumn of year one includes data analysis for life science, experimental methods and design in bioscience, and molecular ecology in conservation biology. Spring covers multivariate biological analysis with R, systems biology, applied molecular ecology and bioinformatics analysis with R. The final year adds library preparation, sequencing technologies, analysis of sequencing data and a master's project in systems biology over 120 credits.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Bachelor's degree equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen of 180 credits with a major in the biological area, such as ecology, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, physiology or bioinformatics, plus English 6 or English level 2.
