Master in Secondary Teaching Level 2

The Master of Advanced Studies and teaching diploma for secondary level 2 prepares graduates to teach pupils aged 15 to 20 at gymnasiums, vocational schools and training centres across Switzerland, including private institutions and companies. Specialisations in mathematics or informatics are offered jointly with EPFL. Admission requires a Master in a teaching subject, a Master in music or visual arts, or a former Licence from the University of Lausanne or another university that includes at least one teaching discipline, though not necessarily as the main subject. Continuing professional development forms part of the career path.
