The Film Design and Management programme is a four-year bachelor's degree taught in Turkish in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at Başkent University. The curriculum is practice-based and supported by theoretical courses on film language, storytelling, social and political awareness and general culture. The aim is to develop students' technical competence, creativity, critical thinking and visual literacy.
Students take part in workshops, panels and studio work with national and international film professionals, and some produce work for festival programmes or win competition awards. The department works with the faculty's other programmes on joint student projects. Students can also take a double major, a minor or an Erasmus exchange offered by the university.
