The Preschool Teaching programme is a four-year bachelor's degree in the Preschool Education branch of Başkent University's Faculty of Education. It trains teachers for children aged 0 to 6 who can care for and educate children and support every area of their development. The programme aims to produce creative, active and productive graduates with broad knowledge of the theory and practice of early childhood education.
Graduates can teach in preschool institutions run by the Ministry of National Education or private schools, and in preschool education centres of public bodies, hospitals and municipalities. Some work as preschool education specialists in written or visual media, or in companies producing preschool materials and software. Graduates can also pursue an academic career in relevant faculties.
