Overview

The Chemical Technology associate programme at Batman University prepares technicians who work between chemical engineers and chemists in the chemical industry. The two-year programme builds practical skills for technical work across industrial sectors and develops problem-solving and critical thinking. Students learn to work in production businesses and laboratories of the chemical industry. The programme includes a compulsory 30-day internship. Graduates may apply for DGS vertical transfer into four-year chemistry, chemical engineering or environmental engineering programmes. The award is a Chemical Technology associate degree.

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national TYT exam with ÖSYM central placement, or through the no-exam transfer conditions. 30 places; lowest placement score 267.6 (success rank 1,252,211).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
