Overview

Accounting and Tax Applications is a two-year associate degree at the Kozluk Vocational School of Batman University, running since the 2020-2021 academic year. It teaches basic accounting concepts and documents, the preparation of balance sheets and income statements, and computer programmes for database-based accounting. Students learn professional accounting regulations and tax practice for public and private sector work. Graduates may continue to undergraduate programmes such as Accounting, Economics and Public Administration through the DGS exam.

Admission Requirements: Admission through the YKS exam with ÖSYM central placement, TYT score type. Places: 54. Lowest placement score: 288.5 (success rank 978,769). Applicants must hold a high school diploma.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
