Overview

The two-year Anaesthesia associate degree programme trains technicians who support anaesthesiologists before, during and after surgery. Students learn to prepare patients and the operating environment, operate anaesthesia equipment and monitor vital functions. The curriculum also covers sterilisation and emergency patient care. Instruction is in Turkish and includes an internship. Graduates earn an önlisans degree and can transfer to nursing, emergency aid or health management bachelor's programmes through the DGS exam.

Admission Requirements: Central placement through ÖSYM on the TYT score type, with 41 places and a lowest placement score of 360.5 (rank 352,081) in YKS 2026.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
