The four-year Philosophy Group Teaching bachelor's programme at Gazi Faculty of Education is taught in Turkish. It covers philosophy, sociology, psychology and logic, alongside the education sciences needed for secondary school teaching. Courses combine subject knowledge, general culture and teacher professional knowledge, integrated with secondary education.
Graduates receive the title Philosophy Group Teacher and may work as teachers in Ministry of National Education secondary schools. With guidance certification they can also work as counsellors in private schools, and they may continue to master's and doctoral study in the department.
