The English language teaching programme prepares English teachers using contemporary language teaching approaches, digital technologies, intercultural communication and critical pedagogy. Its aims include developing graduates who can lead English teacher education and teach in Turkey and abroad.
The four-year programme begins with a preparatory class for students who fail the entry exemption test, which extends study to five years. Graduates who complete 240 ECTS credits with a cumulative average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 receive a bachelor's degree in English language teaching.

Admission Requirements: Central placement through the national YKS exam by ÖSYM on the DİL score type; 54 places; lowest placement score 459.4 (success rank 5,804). Minimum rank condition of 300,000 in the score type. General admission requirements apply to Turkish and foreign students.
