Overview
Nutrition and Dietetics is a four-year bachelor's programme in the Faculty of Health Sciences, taught in Turkish. The department began as a four-year programme in 2008-2009 at the Health School and moved to the faculty in 2018-2019. Theory taught in class is reinforced through practical work in health institutions, to train dietitians with professional skills. The course plan includes on-the-job vocational training. The first graduates were produced in 2012, and diplomas are registered by the Ministry of Health.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission is through Türkiye's national university entrance examination YKS (Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı), with central placement by ÖSYM using the SAY (numerical) score type. In the 2026 guide the programme offered 27 places; the lowest placed candidate scored 335.4 (success rank 220,391). Placement variants: 50% discount, full scholarship (Burslu). International students apply directly to the university under its international (YÖS) quota.
