Biotechnology and Genetics is an interdisciplinary science programme that studies the structure and genetic features of living systems and turns this knowledge into technologies that improve human life. The department combines molecular biology, genetics, microbiology and biochemistry, and develops innovative solutions for the health, agriculture, environment and food sectors.
