Overview

The Digital Game Technologies programme trains game developers, level designers, technical artists and game programmers for the global digital game industry and Turkish game studios. Students work on projects from concept to release using the Unity and Unreal Engine tools. The programme started in 2024-2025 and combines practice-based projects with cooperation with game studios and technoparks in OSTİM Technopark. The two-year associate degree requires 120 ECTS credits and a compulsory workplace training internship. Graduates receive the title Dijital Oyun Geliştiricisi and can work as game developers in studios.

Admission Requirements: ÖSYM central YKS placement, TYT score type; 29 places; lowest placement score 357.1 (2026).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
