BA/BS in Design and Applied Arts

This bachelor of arts prepares students for the graphic arts industry through training in digital design, photography, drawing, and print-making. Techniques such as relief printing and screen printing are part of the curriculum. Foundation courses include drawing, design, and color. Students take part in workshops and exhibitions in an active campus arts community, and an honors option is available. Teaching throughout is shaped by a biblical worldview, and professors pay close personal attention to each learner. Because enrollment per course stays modest, students get to know their instructors well. Electives and minors let each person tailor the major toward a particular vocation, calling, or area of graduate study after commencement.
