Cert in Computer Programming

The Computer Software Development Certificate serves working programmers who want to refresh their skills and career changers who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field. It centers on modern programming languages, object-oriented concepts and database theory. Students can finish in three semesters, and every course is delivered online. Required study includes programming, database design with SQL and object-oriented programming in Python, followed by two technical electives such as Java, C or web application development. The certificate does not include a cooperative education placement. Cincinnati State lists this program under the code CSDC.CT.
