Cert in Engineering-Related Technologies/Technicians

The Engineering Technology Transfer Certificate is meant for students planning to move into a bachelor's degree in an engineering technology field. Enrollment in, or prior completion of, an associate degree in civil, electrical, electro-mechanical, environmental or mechanical engineering technology is required. The certificate courses add to the associate degree requirements and supply an extra year of transferable credit. The Ohio Transfer 36 courses are built into the certificate. Certificate-seeking students work with an academic advisor to match course choices to the requirements of their intended transfer institution. Cincinnati State lists this program under the code ETTC.CT1. The semester-by-semester curriculum is published with lecture and lab hours for each course, and prospective students can contact the program chair or an advisor before applying through the college.
