BA/BS in Landscape Architecture

This license-qualifying first professional degree in landscape architecture is accredited and described as the only undergraduate one in the Ivy League. Its curriculum is broad and teaches the skills used in professional practice. Theory and technology are applied in the design studio and supporting courses. Because the department sits within the agriculture college, students interact with many neighboring disciplines. Graduation depends on meeting the requirements of the major together with the broader degree requirements of the admitting college. Students work with advisors to plan their courses, and the catalog sets out the policies on grades, declaring the major and academic standing that apply along the way. Prospective applicants should review the expectations of the admitting college before choosing this path. Further details on the curriculum and expectations are published in the university catalog.
