MA/MS in Landscape Architecture

The Master in Landscape Architecture within Harvard's Graduate School of Design is an accredited professional degree. This first-professional track is meant for students who finished a bachelor's degree in a subject other than the design professions. It gives them a route into landscape architecture practice. The school lists related options for people who already hold professional landscape architecture degrees, as well as a joint urban design degree, so applicants should confirm which track fits their background. Applications go through the Graduate School of Design. Prospective applicants should review the school's own pages for admission requirements, deadlines and costs, since those details vary and are not set out on the programme overview page. Studying in a design school places students among peers from architecture, planning and landscape fields, which shapes how projects are discussed and reviewed.
