BA/BS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

The business administration major, housed in Hood's Delaplaine School of Business, aims to produce entrepreneurial thinkers who want to change how business functions in society. Students blend conventional business training with a commitment to confronting social, economic and environmental challenges. Local organizations take part in shaping internships, research projects and mentoring. Visiting executives and scholars bring workplace experience into the classroom, and students can steer toward information technology management, public-sector leadership and managing life-sciences organizations. The undergraduate business programs and the MBA are accredited by ACBSP, the council that reviews business schools. Students may add a concentration or choose a business administration minor. The program page has links to ask questions, book a visit or apply, and it identifies a faculty contact. The college catalog contains the full requirements and course descriptions for planning a course of study.
