AA/AS in Agricultural Business and Management

Agribusiness Management at John A. Logan College is an applied science degree that prepares students for the business side of farming and related industries. Coursework looks at the managerial and system-wide functions that organizations carry out across the agricultural sector. The four-semester plan combines college fundamentals, English, math, and speech with agriculture classes in crops, soils, animal science, precision agriculture, sales, and agribusiness management. Students also choose electives in business and career-technical areas. The college points to possible careers such as agricultural sales representative, sales manager, farm or ranch manager, and natural resource manager. Applications are submitted through the apply link on the program page. Prospective students can review the semester-by-semester course list in the linked program guide and apply online through the college. An advisor can explain how the program fits a student's goals and schedule, and the tuition and fees page helps with cost estimates.
