AA/AS in Accounting and Related Services

The Accounting Associate in Applied Science is a two-year program shaped around what modern employers need. It trains students to think critically and logically, and to examine, record and make sense of financial data. Students take payroll, financial, managerial and tax accounting, along with spreadsheet design, QuickBooks Online, business law and communication, and general education courses. A first-year orientation course helps new students get started. The degree prepares graduates for entry-level work such as bookkeeper, tax preparer, accounting assistant or accounting clerk, and it also lays groundwork for further study. John A.
