MA/MS in Architectural Engineering

This integrated program combines a bachelor's and a master's degree in architectural engineering and is designed to be finished in five years. The sequence is described as one of the few of its type in the country. Architectural engineers design the systems that make buildings function, including heating and cooling, fire protection and power. The program emphasizes sustainable design and energy-efficient systems, and builds a foundation in both architectural and engineering principles. Students complete a capstone project aimed at real-world challenges and learn from faculty with industry experience. The curriculum follows a year-by-year flowchart beginning with core first-year courses in composition, chemistry and computing applications.
