BA/BS in Computer Science

Lewis University's computer science program lets students explore building software, security, large datasets, cloud systems, machine intelligence, robotics and game programming. The aim is a solid grounding in programming concepts and the ability to apply them to real problems. Students may choose a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts, with the latter asking for fewer credit hours, especially in mathematics. Entering first-year students and adult learners may both join the major, and interested students should consult an academic advisor about applying. A fast route into the master's degree is available, as are minors in web and mobile development, data science and artificial intelligence.
