MA/MS in Public Administration

The Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy is taught at NYU Wagner and uses New York City as a working laboratory for public service. Coursework spans finance, policy and management so graduates can work across sectors and policy areas. Scheduling is flexible for those studying full or part time, and students may begin in the fall or spring. The program is aimed at people who want a broad education and practical experience, tying classroom skills to real settings in government, nonprofit organizations and related fields. Prospective students can consult the university bulletin page for the full list of required courses, the structure of the degree and the application steps set by the school. Advisers in the department help students plan their courses, choose among available options and prepare for their next step after graduation.
